Poole Station Road Fire now 75% contained

   UPDATE June 23, 2014:  Evacuations have been lifted and the Oak Fire is now listed as 75% contained and the acreage has been reduced to 80 acres burned. There has been one minor injury reported. Four Airtankers and 3 helicopters were used to contain this fire.



   June 22, 2014 at 7 PM:  Per Cal Fire the Oak Fire off Poole Station Road is now 50% contained, thanks to helicopters and tankers that circled endlessly and made water drops.

   One outbuilding is reportedly destroyed. Per Joseph Kelly, ground crews have already begun mop up with chain saws. One helicopter and a surveillance plane remain at the fire. (for more, see "Fire on Poole Station Road")
