UPDATE on June 21, 2014: Don't panic! Why the Fire Department is allowed to burn is unclear, but they reported yesterday that there would be a lot of smoke.
On Saturday, June 21, 2014 from 8:30 AM to 4 PM the Angels Camp Fire Department will hold a wildfire training session on its own property near the fairgrounds.
Smoke will be visible throughout the day due to the controlled burn.
