According to CHP John Patrick Kelly (36) of Manteca, was the sole occupant on an ATV on June 27, 2014 around 2:30 PM, driving on SN01 in the Eagle Meadows area of Tuolumne County.
Kelly was traveling at approximately 35 MPH when he hit a rut in the road. The ATV he was riding rolled twice and Kelly was ejected onto the dirt road.
Kelly suffered major internal injuries from the collision and was transported via helicopter to Doctors Memorial Medical Center in Modesto.
Kelly was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision, according to CHP.
