The Calaveras Planning Commission is again meeting on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at 9 AM in the Board Chambers, to hear the continued appeal of Mr. Maurer's, Mr. Tunno's and Mr. Kearney's asphalt plant on the Calaveras River in Valley Springs.Even if they go ahead and approve this plant against the public's wishes, Mr. Kearney might as well kiss his 2nd term and retirement check goodbye. And that is if no fire starts out there.
He's been trying to pretend like he's not sure, but everyone knows he was the one promoting it from the beginning. Goodbye Mr. Kearney, Mr. Tunno and hopefully Mr. Maurer and Brian Moss, who sucked up to them all and backed them up.

I don't see an end to this. It will probably end up in court; par for the course for Calaveras.
