Big rig over the side in Turlock--Listed Fatality--Not Fatal after all!!

  UPDATE at 4:10 PM:  All lanes are now reopened.

  UPDATE at 1 PM:  Clean up will take at least 3 more hours per CHP.  Approx 4 PM fully re-open all lanes.

UPDATE at Noon:CHP has changed their status of this collision to a Major Injury collision, from a FATAL collision. We aren't sure how this became a fatality
hours earlier, but apparently the victim is alive with Major injuries.

 UPDATE at 11:45 AM:  The roadway is now clear.

   UPDATE;  Drivers are getting out of their vehicles
blocked in traffic. A tow truck cannot access the scene due to congestion; asking for alternate way to the incident.

July 7, 2015 at 9:50 AM:  A big rig has gone over
the side at northbound Hwy 99 and the West Main Street offramp in Turlock.  Lanes are closed; nails have spilled onto the roadway.

   Emergency personnel is at the scene. One person was fatally injured. Traffic is backed up both directions. Avoid the area if possible. Part of the big rig is still on the overpass.
