This is Curly before being killed in dryer. |
Personally, a groomer employee, who is no longer in business, cut a major artery on our cocker spaniels leg, and left her to bleed for hours before we went to pick her up.
We rushed her to the vet, who took care of it and the owner of the groomer paid the vet bill, but they had neglected to call and tell us about it when it happened. It could have been life threatening.
Are the incidents reported to someone at the state level. If so, we are not aware of it. Can a groomer lose their license if too many injuries occur (even one is too many, in our opinion)?
Don't leave your dog any longer than absolutely necessary. Go back early to see what is happening, and pay attention to activity going on in the shop.
