Fire at SPI mill in Chinese Camp

 UPDATE at 4:35 PM:  Some engines have been cancelled as progress is being made on this fire.

 UPDATE at 4:25 PM: We just heard a report that this is a significant fire at the SPI mill.  They have been working on one part of the fire, knocking it down, but it spread.


 UPDATE at 4:20 PM: Cal Fire has requested help from every city fire department in the area.  The fire must be worse than they thought.


   July 11, 2015 at 4 PM:  Cal Fire is responding to a structure  fire reported in the Chinese Camp area on 14333 Perri Cone Road.  This is in the SPI mill area. It is being identified as the "Mill" incident.

   Several engines and water tenders, Columbia air attack and bulldozers have been dispatched to the area.
