James Wagoner of Hathaway Pines

    James Allen Wagoner died of natural causes while at his home in Hathaway Pines on July 1, 2015 at the age of 84.

   James was born January 11, 1931 in Jonesville, North Carolina to Luke and Bessie Wagoner; he was the youngest and last surviving of four brothers.

   He graduated from Jonesville High School in North Carolina. After high school he then enlisted in the Navy and served four years at Moffett Field in Mountain View, California from 1950 to 1954.

   After the Navy, James worked for United Airlines for 35 years as a lead mechanic at the SFO jet shop.

   James is survived by his wife Patsy Wagoner; eight children, John Cox, Sheryl Cox, Teresa Cox, Mark Wagoner, Tara Wagoner, Michael Wagoner, Allen Wagoner, Melissa Wagoner, eighteen
grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

   James was devoted to his family and his church where he served as a Deacon for 53 years.

   There will be a viewing on Monday July 6, 2015 from 1-4 PM at San Andreas Memorial Chapel 254 W. St. Charles Street in San Andreas, CA 95249.

   Then on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 there will be a memorial service at First Baptist Church 1555 Depot Road in Angels Camp at 6 PM.
