Finally, Calaveras passes Marijuana Ordinance

After many hours of testimony, mostly in favor of the regulation of cannabis in Calaveras County and the taxes it will bring, Supervisors voted; it was after 11 PM on May 10, 2016.

They needed a 4/5 vote and when
it came down, the only Nay vote came from Supervisor Oliveira, on orders by his campaign committee McmAnus, Meutterites, Montgomery and Preston.

At least 4 of the Supervisors have a normal brain and can think clearly. Thank you, Supervisors! Get a permit and you can grow marijuana in Calaveras County with a medical card from a doctor.

The reason Oliveira was trying to hurt Ponte and get her to recuse herself was so they wouldn't get the 4/5 vote. Can't you see that?

During the morning break McManus and Peter R. were sitting outside chain smoking and conspiring. They seem to have no problem with cancerous laden tobacco products...hope they don't need medical cannabis for treatment in the future since they're so against it.

Hope Mr P Mauer can quit smoking he is a good person. Hope McManus continues and feels the after burn. Surgeon General States that cigs are bad for your health and proven to cause cancer. FOOLS. If McFatty is unlucky enough to catch cancer from his cigs he will have to crawl in the local dispensary to get some relief from the nausea. They have the right to refuse service to lairs and scum like him. He is just a swamp creature, DUMB as dirt
