Letter to the Editor: Climate Change

     Dear SierraSentinel.com:

I read your website daily and am pleased that someone, at least, has the guts to call out some of the worst of the worst in our neighborhoods and in elective office.

I am very terrified of the coming Climate Change and how our elected officials here and around the US are handling it.

We hear some of our local people like Supervisor Edson say "CUT DOWN THE FOREST TO PREVENT FIRES", which I question because I read that this will only hasten the Climate to warm.

The trees are here to keep the Earth cool, to be a watershed and to clean the air. Mr. Edson's idea of clear-cutting everything is only an idea he is pushing for Mr. McClintock, who we are unfortunate enough to have for our Tea Party Representative in Congress.

Trying to keep it short, I agree pretty much with most of what you have published about Edson. He is a Tea Party nut we have got to replace. I don't even care with whom.

   I care,  in Ebbetts Pass
