At 1:30 PM May 10, 2016 the Calaveras Supervisors are scheduled to approve an Urgency Ordinance allowing existing marijuana cultivators in the County to continue growing.
Part of the Ordinance requires all grows to be permitted and no new commercial grows will be allowed. It will need a 4/5 vote of the Board for approval, but it looks likely to succeed.
There are expected to be many Tea Party folks, including fundamental religious extremists there to speak against this ordinance.
