Letter to the Editor: Native Americans fight for land rights

   Dear Editor:

I've been following the gathering of Native American tribes in the land where the oil companies want to plant pipelines.

Did your readers know that in Bush's regime, he voted against allowing Indigenous peoples to have rights at the UN.  We were one of only 4 countries to do so.

When Obama took over, he reversed that embarrassing vote so that our Native people can claim and fight for their rights legally.

Personally, I am so proud I voted for Obama. We just can't go back to the days of bias, racism and aggression over other people.

   Think before you vote!!

I'm not Native American, but their encampment in North Dakota is something to be proud of. I'm with them.

Is it really true about Bush. One more reason to hate him.
