Al Franken, 66 year old popular Senator from Minnesota has resigned, and as he did, he mentioned that "there is some irony" in his departure "while a man sits in the Oval Office who has bragged on tape about his history of sexual assaults and a man who has preyed on young girls campaigns for the Senate; both with the full support of the GOP".
Several allegations of sexual misconduct were alleged by women who knew Franken long before he became a Senator. Politics is dirty! Politics is cruel! You have to be tough to survive! And now you have to be squeaky clean!
