At around 7:20 AM on December 27, 2017 a vehicle ran off Hwy 4 and into the river in Discovery Bay. This involved an overturned big rig and a PG&E pole.
Then at about 2:30 PM another car has reportedly run off Hwy 4 and into the water nearby. Minor injuries are indicated in the 2nd incident.
