As of December 18, 2017 the Thomas Fire in Ventura and now in Santa Barbara counties continues to devastate the area. 8400 firefighters are currently working this fire.
According to CalFire 295,000 acres have burned and nearly 1300 structures have been destroyed so far. The fire is 45% contained at this time.
