UPDATE: CHP has released the name of the man killed in this crash. It was Jonathan A. Hughes, a 53 year old Dorrington resident.
According to CHP on December 16, 2017 around 9 PM a Dorrington resident was driving a 1998 Chevrolet truck on Boards Crossing Road
at Snowshoe Thompson Trail in Dorrington.
Apparently the man failed to negotiate the split in the roadway and struck a tree. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The name is being withheld for notification of next of kin. Neither drugs nor alcohol is considered to be a factor in this collision.
