The guts of PG&E, to use bankruptcy as a negotiating tool to try and get out of paying for the fires last year.
The California state legislature says they are holding PG&E liable for at least 245,000 acres in October of 2017.
PG&E also refuses to put their lines underground for the future safety of California residents, citing that it costs too much.
