Boston tries to get back to regular life

After a week of heavy police presence in Boston and its suburbs, residents are hoping to get
some semblance of normalcy in this major university town.

It seemed as if thousands of police officers were bused in Friday morning, and several hours of searching was conducted, during which time the mayor orderd  "shelter in place"  of all residents.

When nothing was found, at around 3 PM, authorities called off the shut down.  Then around dinnertime, a resident called the police about something in his backyard.

The man had found a strap to his boat cover cut and some blood, then looked inside and saw a figure huddled under a blanket in the bottom of the boat.

Authorities then amassed in Watertown, where the resident lived. Another lockdown was called and finally, a police officer talked the 19 year old out of the boat.

He had been wounded in the shootout where his brother was killed the night before and had lost a lot of blood.

He was taken away by ambulance to be treated for his wound and then arrested.

The father of the two boys, who was in Russian and only got to the US last night, said that he didn't believe his sons could do something like this.
