Selling Animals in Public Places may be banned

  In California it is already illegal to sell or even give away live animals on street corners or in shopping centers.

  Now a new bill that just passed the Safety Committee unanimously, will ban the sale of live animals at outdoor markets, like flea markets, etc.

   Reports of heat, lack of water, overhandling by customers and general mistreatment were cited in the bill's introduction.
