Wanted by Angels Camp Police Department

    Jessie James Taylor, for alleged Possession of Narcotics for Sale, ACPD Case # 13-0392 (See photo below)

   On April 6, 2013 at approximately 1:15 PM an officer from Angels Camp Police Department made a traffic enforcement stop in the 600 block of Stanislaus Avenue.

   The driver of the vehicle, later identified as Jesse J. Taylor, fled the scene of the traffic stop while carrying a blue colored backpack, by running into a yard and jumping a fence.  The officer attempted to follow Taylor, but was met in the yard by a dog that attempted to bite him.

   Taylor was able to escape by jumping the fence and fleeing on foot.  The blue colored backpack was located in the back yard of the residence and a narcotics detection K9 was utilized for a sniff of the back pack and its contents.

   The K9 alerted to the presence of odor associated with narcotics anda search of the backpack and its contents revealed approximately two ounces of ethamphetamine, narcotics packaging material, and other narcotic sales paraphernalia.

   Additionally, indicia in the form of U.S. main and court paperwork bearing Taylor's name was found.

   The evidence was secured and the vehicle that Taylor was driving was towed and impounded.

   This investigation is ongoing, and Jesse J. Taylor, a 29 year old Arnold resident, is currently wanted for charges related to the possession of narcotics (methamphetamine), possession of narcotics for sales, transportation of narcotics, resisting /obstructing an officer, possession of narcotic paraphernalia, and driving on a suspended drivers license.
