President Obama says "I could have been Trayvon..."

July 20, 2013:  In an impromptu and impassioned tribute to Trayvon Martin. President Obama made an unplanned
appearance at the White House press briefing yesterday.

He spoke for about 17 minutes and without a prepared speech about how the black community and he himself relate to what happened to Trayvon Martin and the reaction to the jury's verdict.

The parents of Trayvon said afterwards that it was a "wonderful tribute to their son."

It was played on all of the network and cable channels. Only one channel said it was a "divisive" speech. Can you guess which one?  And it was a statement made by a man who claims to be a pastor.

Today over 100 cities have planned protests and "Justice for Trayvon" rallies across the county.

That was the most passionate and moving speech I've heard since Jack Kennedy's 'do for your country,,,

The right man was definitely elected President!

Unfortunately, he can't cure the sickness of racism in the country alone.
