
Teddy was born September 26, 1956 in Santa Clara County. He moved to Valley Springs (Paloma) with his family in 1970.
He competed in the Special Olympics and went to school and vocational training through Valley Mountain Regional Center.
During his adult life, he resided in Stockton at different care homes. He loved eating pancakes and enjoyed playing pinball, slot machines, listening to the radio (especially rock and roll music), shopping for electronics at the second hand stores, and tinkering with electronics which led to his employment as a radio repairman.
Teddy is survived by brother and sisters Jason Berry of San Andreas, Rex Berry of San Andreas, Lorry Weatherby of Valley Springs, Jennifer Berry of San Andreas, Lynne Silva of Oakley, Carl Berry II of Gilbert, Arizona, half-sisters and half-brother, Jeanne Berry of Reno, Lila Grover of Plymouth, Richard Berry of Placerville and many cousins, nephews, nieces and step-mother Helen Berry.
He was preceded in death by his father Carlton Berry and mother Rita Berry.
Teddy lived in a care home with his cherished caregivers, Maricor J. Camero, Iidefonso Letran, Melody Guiao and Rizalino de Perio for the past 15 years.
The caretakers became family whom he dearly loved. His devoted social workers were Michael Lusk and Dave Vodden and program manager Mary Ann Gonzalez.
There will be a visitation/viewing on Thursday, January 8, 2015 from 12 PM to 5 PM at San Andreas Memorial Chapel, 254 St. Charles Street in San Andreas. Rosary is at 4 PM.
The funeral service to honor his life is Friday, January 9, at 1 PM, also at San Andreas Memorial Chapel and a Graveside Service at the People's Cemetery at 273 Cemetery Ave in San Andreas.
