The question was asked everywhere! Why did Evan Garamendi, member of the large political Garamendi family, lose her Calaveras Unified Board seat?
The most common thread that was told to us was that she has an entourage that includes Barbara Yook,
the Calaveras District Attorney. Apparently Yook followed Garamendi everywhere; why is not known.
Yook, who even told us when she first ran, that she was a defender of women, has proven that NOT to be true and many are disappointed that no one ran against her for the office in 2014.

In my opinion, you don't know ms yook very well. she cares a lot about a woman, herself!!!
All I know is that I saw Garamendi come into a debate once and she was with Yook. I didn't like it either.
I think it depends on who at the Da office handles the case. I can't think of the name, but there is one who cares.
if this is true, how did she get re-elected?
She brags at board meetings that she is pro protection of women. Is it just talk?
