September 12, 2015 at 10:50 AM: We understand that a new fire break is being created parallel to Hwy 4 all the way down the Ebbetts Pass Corridor. We saw three giant bulldozers headed that way.
Hopefully this time it will hold. Cal Fire has been unable to hold prior fire breaks due to the forward spotting caused by flying embers. This one will be wider! We wish them luck!
