At around 1 AM on May 15, 2016 the Calaveras Sheriff's Office was notified of a person on Hwy 4 near Batten Road in Vallecito being intoxicated.
A man wearing a hat and shorts had become beligerant to CHP when they stopped and asked if he needed help. He told the Sheriff's deputy that he just woke up after drinking at a winery and was walking home.
Jesse E. Gray (32) of Sheep Ranch was booked into the Calaveras County Jail for alleged Disorderly Conduct due to Alcohol, a misdemeanor and released with a Citation.
