After the Butte Fire, the public asked, but did not receive positive answers from PG&E to eliminate overhead electric wires.
They paid 50,000 to each homeowner who lost their residence in the Butte, but still do NOT want the expense of putting overhead wires underground. Now there are more fires, Santa Rosa and Southern Californian due to electric wires.
Instead, they want the public to pay for clear-cutting around all their power lines. They say this will prevent fires! That is a LIE!! They need to be forced to bury all electric wires.
Why isn't the California PUC and the legislature doing something to force them to protect us? Is it because they donate to their campaigns?
