Federal judge lays blame on PG&E

U.S. District Judge William Alsup on Thursday blamed PG&E' uninsulated power conductors for most of the fires in California in the past two years, including the Camp Fire in Butte County.

Can PG&E just escape paying for these disasters simply by declaring bankruptcy?

That's the end of PGE as we know it and expect your rates to go up to cover homeowner loses!

It's my belief that PG&E are between a rock and a hard place. I like the fact that they are cutting off the power when the winds are high and the ground cover is dry. They should have started this practice many years ago and they wouldn't be in the fix they are now.
