Error in Saddle Queen Title

Due to a mix-up in the judges' scores, there are actually two girls sharing the title of 2012 Calaveras Saddle Queen of the Calaveras County Fair.
Laurie Giannini said that an audit after the judging showed that an error had been made.
Natalie Harp, 18, of Valley Springs had been crowned after the competition, but the correction adds Krista Maisch, 16, of Copperopolis as an equal winner, and shares the crown with Harp.
The error was announced over the loudspeakers at the fair on the last day, but no second coronation ceremony is planned.  A second crown has now been ordered, and Maisch will receive the same $1000 scholarship amount that Harp received earlier.
The Saddle Queen and her court appear at a variety of community events and parades throughout the year.
