Strong Calaveras Enterprise Needed In Unfriendly County

Calaveras Enterprise News
Why is strong Calaveras enterprise needed?  To answer this question lets define the word enterprise.  According to  Wikipedia the world largest online encyclopedia the word is defined as follows: "an organization engaged in the trade of goods, services, or both to consumers.  Predominant in capitalist economies, where most of them are privately owned and administered to earn profit to increase the wealth of their owners."

1. a project or undertaking, esp one that requires boldness or effort
2. participation in such projects
3. readiness to embark on new ventures; boldness and energy
4. initiative in business
Now we have folks that want to bring their businesses, start new business here.   There are those entrepreneurs in the community that are the epitome of the above mentioned definition, they are bold, take initiative, have energy and ready to embark on a venture.  Yet they find from the very beginning of the process to the end that the local government in Calaveras County namely the Board of Supervisor does not believe in Calaveras enterprise.
Efforts are made by would-be business owner to appease the ludicrous request and demand of local government a yet it seems the mountain of paperwork, binding red tap, and the membership price to the good old boys to much.  Yet there are a few in the community despite the best efforts of local government to make it nearly impossible to open a business within the county many that find the fortitude to soldier on.
How are new business owners rewarded for their hard work once they hang up their open sign?  They are told to shut their doors after already investing their retirement, life savings or tapping out angel investors.  Can you say Trinitas?  Why are we letting folks who do not seem to be interested or willing to help the local economy have any say in how we run our enterprises, our businesses, how we put food on the table for our families.   When will enough be just that.... enough?
