Assault Reported at Murphys Sanitary District

At around 8:40 PM on October 11, 2012, a call was made to the Calaveras Sheriff's Office that an assault had taken place at Murphys Sanitary District on Big Trees Rd in Murphys.

Since they have some unruly people who attend
those meetings, and last night was a meeting for their Board, we have asked questions.

According to witnesses, Mike Peccia was threatening to both the General Manager of Murphys Sanitary and a husband of one of the employees.

One witness told us that Peccia had to be restrained on the ground by a member of the audience. We also understand that Pat Davies, who had  just resigned, attended the meeting and was extremely rude and unruly from her seat in the audience.

Davies and Peccia are close allies, according to many witnesses.

After the call was made, the party decided no action would be taken at this time.  We will let you know more when we get the Sheriff's report.

Thank you for the sensible critique. Me & my cousin were just preparing to do some research on this. We got a book from our local library but I think I learned better from this post. I’m very glad to see such great info being shared freely out there…

After so many problems that lead to Mike Peccia and the Sanitary District, shouldn't he be banned from any future public meetings, due to disruption??
