Calaveras Tenements Coming/Tryonville

Recently, all the Supervisors in Calaveras County can talk about is "clustering" all the poor people
in tightly organized housing, in order to preserve open land.

Everyone knows that this is called tenement living; it creates crime, poverty, and endless other problems, not to mention that the open space land is never maintained, policed, cleaned or used the way the do-gooders say they intend.

Yes, if you cannot afford 40 acres in which to build a home in Calaveras County, you will be relegated to the Calaveras Tenements, many of which are planned in Angels Camp, on a piece of land now referred to as Tryonville.
