G. Virginia Van De Venter

    G. Virginia Van De Venter, of San Andreas, passed away on April 21, 2013 at her home. She was 92.

    A native of Oakland, she lived in Richmond for many years. and had lived in San Andreas for 4 years. She was a homemaker.

   She was a member of St. Lukes United Methodist Church and a member of the VFW Womens Auxillary Post # 913 and a member of the Women of the Moose Chapter # 566 in Richmond.

   Preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Romayne Jay Van De Venter, and a sister Mary Schuman, she is survived by her children; Nancy Baxley of San Andreas, Sharon Hugel of Union City, a brother; W. Bud Lange, 2 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

   A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 26, 2013 at 1 PM at the Sunset View Cemetery and Funeral Home at 101 Colusa Ave in Kensington, CA 94530.
