MaryJane Giuffra Passed Away

   MaryJane (Grandma) Giuffra entered peacefully into the presence of the Lord whilde surrounded by her family on March 29, 2013 at her home. She was 74.


   MaryJane was born in Merced on March 18, 1939 and moved to Calaveras County in 1945 where she worked as Clerk Recorder for county government, retiring in 2004.

   While working for the government center she helped her husband Frank run the family bakery until 2003.

  Mary Jane was loved and admired by everyone in her community. She has joined her dearly departed brother, Leland Mangles, sister Lovena Miner and parents James and Josephine Outcalt.

   She is survived by her beloved husband, Frank Giuffra of 34 years; sisters Shirly Paulk and DeMcHugh; her daughter Jody Renner and fiance Ruben Rodriguez, step-sons; Robin Giuffra, Steve Giuffra, Greg Giuffra and Richard Giuffra, daughter-in-law Michele Giuffra, grand-children Michael Braga, Justin & Katie Giuffra and Tyler and Samantha Giuffra, great grand-children Faith Giuffra, Kameryn Giuffra, Kayden Giuffra, Marriana Giuffra, Scarlette Giuffra and McKalynn Giuffra.

  She also had many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews who loved her dearly.

   Family and friends are invited to attend a life celebration for Mary Jane on April 14, 2013 at 1 PM at Community Covenant Church 261 Treat Ave in San Andreas, followed by a potluck in the downstairs kitchen dining area. Please bring a dish.
