NASA Plans two new Space Missions

Just because no trips to the moon or Mars are planned doesn't mean that NASA isn't busy. Two new space missions are planned for launch in 2017.

One is a satellite that can scan the entire sky for exoplanets (Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite or TESS) and a space station experiment that can monitor cosmic x-ray emissions, (Neutron-star Interior Composition Explorer or NICER) are the two chosen.

Now those are a mouthful, even for NASA.
