No more Foie Gras for you...

   After PETA, (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) threatened to sue the owner of  a little
restaurant, Broadway by Amar Santana  in Laguna Beach, the chef removed the foie .gras from the menu.

    The chef was attempting to sidestep the issue by charging $55 for a glass of wine and serving the fois gras for FREE on the side.

   The sale and purchase of foie gras was banned in California last July 1.  In case you didn't know, foie gras is the enlarged liver of a duck after being force-fed for months.

   Congratulations, PETA!!
