UPDATE: As of 8:30 AM the road is clear, vehicles pulled into parking lot.
August 30, 2013 at 8:22 AM: CHP is responding to a collision between a big rig truck and a pickup on Hwy 12 near the entrance to the Mar Val Shopping Center in Valley Springs.
No injuries have been reported. Avoid the area if possible until cleared. Parties attempting to separate vehicles that were hooked together.
