August 31, 2013: Jon Jarvis, the Director of the National Park Service will visit the Rim Fire Incident Command Post today.
He will meet with the Southern Area Incident Management Blue Tea and National Park firefighters.
He will attend the 6 AM briefing and will speak at the 7:30 AM press conference, and then answer questions.
Additional press conferences will be held every day at 7:30 AM.
