CHP reports that on August 16, 2013 at around 10 AM the CHP was dispatched to a hit and run traffic collision on Hwy 4 in Arnold.
Witnesses stated that a white male driving a brown or tan SUV, possibly a Ford Explorer with a chrome grille guard and tinted windows was driving on the wrong side of the road and ran a white 2006 Ford F150 pickup driven by Zachary Anglin (27) of Arnold off the road.
Then witnesses said that the driver ran into two unoccupied parked vehicles. Apparently the pickup then careened into a support beam of a nearby building.
Then, according to CHP the pickup made an illegal U-turn and fled the area, traveling westbound on Hwy 4 at a high rate of speed.
