August 22, 2013: A construction company digging to install pipes right next to Murphys Creek have traffic backed up and what a mess. We don't see any Caltrans employees at the site.
Last night on the way to Ebbetts Pass the traffic flaggers were trying to hurry drivers up even though the clouds of dust made it impossible to see clearly.
It seems like there should be someone there watching the Creek and the safety of drivers in that stretch. We suggest staying away if at all possible.
