OP-ED...Is a Rise in Violence linked to climate change or the economy?

A group of scientists in the US have found that shifts in climate are strongly linked to increases in violence around the world, and added to that the bad economy, it could get much worse.

Scientists found that even a small changes in temperature or rainfall correlated with a rise in assaults, rapes and murders, as well as group conflicts and war.

With the current projected levels of climate change, the world is likely to become a more violent place, this study suggests.

When a bad economy, with high unemployment is added to the mix, there is bound to be anger, frustration and panic, which lead to violence around the world, not just here in the US.
