August 22, 2013 at  8:05 AM:  This is too shocking to believe! The USFS has allowed the Rim Fire in the beautiful Stanislaus National
Forest to grow to 53,886 acres.

As we reported before, CalFire is now involved and people are angry that it seems every fire where the USFS has the only control that the fires are allowed to explode with devastating results.

Hopefully, CalFire will take over and bring the horrid fire that is way too close to home, under control.

Those are not clouds in the sky this morning. This is all smoke.  The Rim Fire is now considered to be 2% contained.
