UPDATE: As of 11:04 AM CHP says roadway is now clear.
August 24, 2013 at 10:09 AM: A traffic accident involving a motorcycle rider occurred on Hwy 49 at Bell in Jackson. An ambulance has been dispatched. The motorcycle rider is down on the road.
CHP is at the scene. The northbound lane of Hwy 49 is closed temporarily. Minor injuries reported only.
