Black Bear reported eating pears! OMG!!

September 17, 2013: Another starving Black Bear was reported to Fish and Wildlife to be killed
on South Railroad Flat Road in Mountain Ranch.

The caller stated that a bear was eating pears off the trees, and that they had ongoing issues with THIS bear and their livestock.  Poor thing. People who are afraid of bears should not be allowed to live here.

And if you plant fruit trees in the Sierra Foothills or Mountains and are not willing to share, YOU have a problem. The wild animals were here first!!

we continue to see people move from the faltlands to the foothills to enjoy the lifestyle and rural flavor. But once they get here, they immediately want to change it. Go Home!

Nice welcome wagon. I always cracked up at "locals". Use to surf and if you went out as a newbie, the locals would kick your board to shore.
Then I'd kick their ass for touching my board.
Unless someone's on your property. This is friggen America and I can move myself and my family anywhere to our liking.
Why don't YOU GO HOME to your cave, you sour puss, and write Callaway a letter about it !!

If you are new to the area, don't be afraid of the bears. They won't hurt you. There is absolutely no reported killing of any person in California by a black bear. Enjoy them and take pictures before they hibernate. My husband and I think they are awesome. We put out water for them.

Don't be afraid of the locals either. Some are inbred and some are just ignorant cowpokes who never left the farm!
