At Thursday September 12, 2013's Special Calaveras Supervisors meeting, Supervisor Chair
Callaway was asked who is now running the Planning Department.
She responded by saying "ME". This is the first time she has admitted that she indeed does, and has, been running the Planning Department for years.
She stated that if anyone has any questions about anything in Planning to call "ME"! The Sierra Sentinel has been aware of her total imposition into Planning Department business, and believe that she has had and continues to have total control of every decision they make.
Something should be done about this. Supervisor Callaway should not have the control over the Planning Department that she has.

Chair Callaway also admitted to being a "POLITICIAN". Chair Callaway is the Planning Dept. head after the departure date of Director Willis.
Chair Callaway was also put on notice she has failed to make contact with that speaker on the issue of flooding, which she previously, publicly promised.
Today is Sunday, has Chair Callaway fulfilled her promise to call?
My understanding is NO!
It seems prudent for the citizens of this County to immediately take steps to RECALL Callaway for her horrendous mishandling of the office she holds at the bequest of the citizens she smirks at!

Our County Government as a whole is and embarrassment! I think we need a clean sweep and start over...starting with BOS, planning dept & last but not least the inept county counsel that lets them be buffoons!
