The Calaveras Board of Supervisors has never been what you would call financially wise, expedient or well-planned. Tomorrow we'll find out if they want to change!
A good example of this basic problem is that there is no vehicle fleet program for county employees.
Some vehicles sit unused, while others don't get the proper maintenance and time is wasted is both situations.
The CAO and Public Works have come up with a plan that could lead to saving money for the taxpayers. This is on tomorrow's, September 10, 2013 agenda for approval.
