As you are aware, the Rim Fire continues to burn in Tuolumne County, resulting in impacts to air quality in Calaveras County per Brian Moss.
With the meteorological reports predicting lower relative humidity along with high pressure, we can continue to expect to be impacted by wildfire smoke this upcoming weekend and into early next week.
The Calaveras County Air Pollution Control District is therefore issuing its fourth Public Service Announcement since the Rim Fire began, reminding individuals of the impacts of wildfire smoke.
