Calaveras Supervisors Ponte and Edson anti-job?

During the last Calaveras County Supervisors meeting on January 28, 2014, both Supervisors Edson and Ponte made broad sweeping statements about being in favor of business; helping the local existing businesses and bringing more into Calaveras County.

These two Supervisor led the charge against the best project to be brought into District 1 in many years, Edson's district, the Pool Station Road/Mosby project.

This project, on over 100 acres, would have created 3 beautiful custom homes, and brought jobs to many during their construction on 10 acre parcels.

They both spoke up and voted against it and this makes their claims of wanting more good jobs for Calaveras County, false.

And we reiterate; they continue to make false statements about wanting jobs all the time.  They should be recalled, but their constituents are on welfare and therefore cannot afford the cost of the recall!!

It's about time someone noticed their lies. How many actual jobs have either of them specifically brought. Edson nor ponte should be allowed on the Econ. Dev. Co. They are both phonies who like welfare and ranchers.

they also faked their reasons. ponte is close friends and Tiscornia is a donor. She voted for him because he didn't want a house next to him. It is disturbing.

Actually, this project proposed to do no more than create four parcels of land. The project did not propose to construct beautiful custom homes. An ample number of parcels exist already in the County for the construction of these beautiful custom homes.

The process to build more than one home on large acreage is to parcel map or subdivide the property.
What does "ample" mean? Are the "ample" number of existing parcels for sale? Just because they already exist doesn't mean they are readily available.
