It seems that this week zoos all over the world are coming under more scrutiny, after one zoo shot and fed an unwanted 2 year old giraffe to its lions.
Apparently yesterday a polar bear in Germany died after eating a purse and coat that had fallen into its enclosure. A common problem, many animals have died of obstructions after eating items that fell from visitors hands or feet.
