Around 4:30 AM on August 18, 2017 a sedan tried to pass on Hwy 4 at Victoria Island in San Joaquin County.
The car crashed head-on
into a big rig car hauler and caught on fire. A pickup was also involved. The engine and transmission are out on the roadway. The big rig is partly in the water.
Hwy 4 will be closed for some time as the emergency responders remove vehicles and debris. At least one person has died from their injuries in this collision.
