Of all days to pick, DiBasilio came to the Calaveras Board meeting and demanded they give him
$50 an hour for his deputies, who do not much more than CUT POT plants!
This was poor judgment on his part! There will be no more money, Mr. DiBasilio! And your deputies are the last employees who deserve ANY raise.
Maybe if they could catch a criminal or keep from getting stuck in the mud or maybe if most of them didn't sit in the fancy office all day and went on patrol!!
We need a new Sheriff, just like we need a new District 3 Supervisor, ASAP!!!
